Cobblestone Cellars Wine Tasting

August 20, 2010
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Please join us Friday 8/20 6 – 8pm for a free tasting of selected wines from Cobblestone Cellars. On the Tasting Table:

Riondo Prosecco: Robert Parker 90 points. “This effusively fruity, light-bodied offering offers terrific floral notes, persistent effervescence, and a clean, delicate finish. There is not much body or weight in this crystal clean, pure, sparkling white. It is an ideal aperitif to enjoy over the next year. It is an amazing Prosecco”.

Alma de Blanco Godello: Beautiful, medium bodied white from from Northwest Spain. One of the best Godellos from Spain! Aromas of citrus, fresh herbs, and white peach jump from the glass. On the palate, this concentrated effort delivers pit fruit and tropical flavors, plenty of minerality, good depth, and a lengthy finish.

Legado de Munoz Tempranillo: Aromas of cherry and plum, with hints of espresso and bitter chocolate. Juicy and exuberant, with a bracing acid streak perking up the red and black fruit flavors. Vibrant, fresh and brisk through the finish, with the cherry flavor remaining focused and bright.

Callejo Tempranillo: Dark plum color. Lavender/powdery nose with aromas of dark fruit. Full bodied, rich fruit and oak flavors. Enough acidity to stand up to the fruit.

Monte Volpe Primo Rosso: Mendocino County artistic blend of Italian heritage with a touch of California flair! Rich in color, fragrance, fruit and flavor with a great deal of finesse.

Enjoy a special savings of $1.00/bottle from the tasting line up. See you Friday!
